1. Church coffee morning Thursday 4th December in the parish room from 10:30 till 12 noon. Raffle plus bring-and-buy stall with a Christmas theme.


Services over the Christmas period at Holy Cross


2. Sunday Dec 16th Carol service at 6:30 pm with punch and mince-pies afterwards

3. Sunday 23rd December 11:15 am Family service and blessing of the crib refreshments after.

4. Christmas eve December 24th 10 pm Celebration of Communion

No service on Christmas day

5. Sunday December 30th 10:30 joint three parishes service at Holy Cross, everyone very welcome at all these services.

September saw the launch of the new quarterly newsletter, here is a picture of Roland and Valerie's Scarecrow "Lavender blue" which I had no space to show in this newsletter
I have used this opportunity to demonstrate how we can show pictures in this Bulletin board!, to use this facility you need to go to MENU and click on UPLOAD IMAGE, then go to ADD ENTRY, then to display the uploaded image go to VIEW UPLOADED IMAGES and click on the image you want to display try it, you'll love it!.

On Saturday 22.9.07 there's a Dragon boat regatta, 10am - 4pm, with teams racing down the Tone. Then, just after sunset, there'll be an illuminated boat parade along the river.

On Sunday 23.9.07 The River Festival will be on at French Weir Park, Taunton, from 10am - 5pm. The attractions will include: boat trips from 10am all day, model boats, canoe & kayak displays, fly fishing tuition, a Giant Duck Race, live music etc.
