GARDENING CLUBAt the March meetingof Sampford Arundel Gardening Club,we were delighted to welcome back SarahPepper of Country Cottage Crafts(www.sarapepper.co.uk). Sarah gave us aworkshop on making floral baskets forEaster. Her charming relaxed approach toflower arranging inspired us all toproduce some delightful and colourfulbaskets using fresh and silk flowers andeven eggs. Sarah works with the National Trust aswell as running demonstrations from herstudio in Crannaford, Broadclyst, she alsoruns workshops in some of the mostbeautiful houses such as Saltram House,Cothele, Knightshayes and Killerton. Next month's meeting will be held onThursday 10th April 2008 at 7.30 inSampford Arundel Parish Room, thespeaker will be David Burgess and he willbe talking about the "Gardens of Kyoto".All are welcome.This month's competition for an Eastercard was won by Sandy Lister and secondwas Valerie Milton.The competition for April is a miniaturegarden. | ||
